Painting Matthew's Room

We had a blast painting Matthew's room last week. He helped quite a bit :-)

Doozie School

Every Monday, Matthew and I go to a mom and tot pre-school. He looks forward to this all week long. He refers to it as Doozie School, since there is a puppet that visits every week names Doozie. Here are some photos from our day at school.

Snuggle Time!!

Lowe's Build and Grow - Gingerbread house

I'm lost!

The other day, Matthew wedged himself behind our kitchen garbage can and started yelling to me that he was lost, and I needed to come find him. I love this age!! So cute!

Crayons

Oh how I wish a had a photo for this!! In the moment, a picture was the last thing on my mind, but it was a picture indeed!! I swear I was only upstairs for like 4 minutes...honest!! Matthew walks upstairs with red all around his mouth, down his shirt, in his hair...then I go downstairs and see red all over the trampoline, the floor, my walls. Apparently Crayola crayons are mighty tasty...cant wait to see the rainbow of colors later today :-) How can a crayon make this kind of a mess you ask?? This I can not even begin to explain, but it's true indeed!! Good they are non-toxic! Other delicacies this week included glue at pre-school, cotton balls, an attempt at a pen cap. Is there a term for kids that enjoy eating non-food things. All this and still won't touch a vegetable that's not a pickle or cucumber!! What to do???

Playing in the Leaves with Grandpa

Lowe's Build and Grow

This Saturday, Matthew and his Grandpa went to Lowe's "Build and Grow" free workshop. Together they built a race-car garage. They really are best buddies!!

Autumn Leaf War

Who knew you could have this much fun with a big pile of leaves? What a great couple of weeks we have had, with temperatures in the 60's and 70's!! Matthew had a blast attacking Greg and me with handfuls of leaves. Of course, we couldn't let him have all the fun!! This was one of those days you want to bottle up for a rainy day. Matthew is acting so grown up lately. The things that come out of his mouth are so funny, and so smart! We are really proud to be his parents, and amazed at the person he is becoming. What a neat little guy!
