Fantasy vs Reality

Playdate Fantasy: The idea that two toddlers can play side by side in perfect harmony. That they will willingly take turns, and act in a loving way with each other at all times. That they will share everything with a smile and never demand their own way. That the adult parents can chat and catch up while all this harmony plays out in front of their eyes...

Playdate Reality:

All hell breaks loose at a moments notice, as the children fight for ownership over whatever the other child may have. It's survival of the loudest, as they exert their small yet mighty voices. Sadly, the adults get to talk for about 2 minutes and spend the rest of the time on damage control.

Brooke: We hope your fingers are feeling better!! We had a wonderful time today. Hope to see you again soon, and hope you are laughing at this post too!!
